From the beautiful Maison Michel Picard, this pellucid Aloxe Corton 2006 is utterly charming Established in the early 1950′s with just two hectares, at 135 hectares today, it is now one of the region’s premiere major estates. Drawing on fruit from the house’s best parcels, this clean, fruit driven, slightly creamy style of Pinot Noir works [...]

From the iconic Côte de Beaune, this supple, clay and limestone sewn Pinot Noir delivers a rich, complex bouquet of wild strawberries, raspberries, spiced clove, Madagascan vanilla and Corscian liquorice. This is followed by angular, almost chiseled tannins and grilled meaty notes which bely its relative youth. Matured in new casks.

Tannic and full bodied, robust wine. It is a great year with a nice consistency: wine storage. Served with roast beef, game and cheeses. Do not open the bottle in advance. Open just before serving. The wine opens in the glass.

The Bergaglio’s estate covers an area of 15 hectares and they produce an excellent Gavi that represents super value. It has good weight and concentration while still retaining freshness with a crisp tang of lime fruit.

Our blueberry and vanilla scenter Sassaia Monferrato Rosso 2005 from Piercarlo Bergaglio is what you might term a Super ‘Piemontese’. Blended from Cabernet Sauvignon, Nebbiolo and Barbera grapes, ithis inky, intense, full bodied wine mingles enticing scents of green bell pepper and mint with bilberry, blackberry and liquorice. The palate is luxurious, with a supple, just dried fruit set in rich [...]

Spumante Prosecco Extra Dry Organic La Cantina Pizzolato The colour is a brilliant straw-yellow enlivened by its perlage. Its aromatic quality is fresh and rich in fruity aromas of apple and pear with a hint of citrus fruit. In the mouth it is soft, yet at the same time dry, thanks to its good acidity.
